SVNH Community Forum for All System Changemakers for South Vancouver
On October 20, 2023, we invited municipal, provincial, and federal changemakers to learn about the inequities in South Vancouver and listen to community stories at our SVNH Community Forum. Attendees included Councillor Christine Boyle, MLAs George Chow, Mable Elmore and Michael Lee, IRCC officers, as well as community members and partners. Community needs in diverse areas such as family services, transportation, housing, food assets, social services, employment support, healthcare, neighbourhood upkeep & public spaces were discussed.
It was an impactful forum that raised awareness on regional issues, elevated community voices, and invited all system changemakers to collaborate and promote equity in South Vancouver.
